Here we are again! Moving towards the end of the year with the Christmas season fast approaching. This period can be a time of excitement, preparedness, anticipation and exhaustion. Many are preparing for their annual downtime, individuals and families hurriedly getting ready to set off on holidays and earn some well earned rest.

And then for others, this time of the year can bring up loneliness, family challenges, financial pressure, loss and sadness.

With so much going on, the potential of the added pressures and expectation from many avenues, this time of the year can be overwhelming. This overwhelm can induce fatigue, anxiety, a need for isolation, in other words the need for a “Safe Space” to to gather your senses/strength - or maybe you just want to hide?
